GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (GTCS)
PHEROAD – Private Chauffeur-Driven Passenger Transport
1. Company Identification
The company PHEROAD,
A limited liability company (SARL) with registered share capital,
Having its registered office in Rennes (France),
Registered under SIRET number 822 004 990 00013,
Operating as a licensed private passenger transport operator with chauffeur (VTC),
Hereinafter referred to as “the Service Provider.”
2. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) define the terms and conditions under which PHEROAD provides private chauffeur-driven passenger transport services to private individuals and professional clients (hereinafter referred to as “the Client”).
Any booking implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS.
3. Services Provided
PHEROAD provides, in particular, the following services:

Transfers to and from airports and train stations

Short-distance and long-distance journeys
-
Vehicle hire with chauffeur (hourly or daily basis)

Tourist circuits and tailor-made journeys
-
Services for private and corporate clients
-
Local, regional, national and international transport services
The essential characteristics of each service are specified in the quotation or booking confirmation.
4. Booking
Bookings may be made:

Via the website
-
By telephone
-
By email
A minimum booking notice of 24 hours prior to pick-up is required, unless otherwise exceptionally agreed by the Service Provider.
All bookings are subject to the issuance and acceptance of a mandatory prior quotation.
A booking becomes firm and binding upon:

Acceptance of the quotation by the Client
-
Payment of a 30% deposit
5. Prices
Prices are expressed in euros (€), all taxes included.
Pricing is calculated:

Per kilometre, or
-
Per hour, depending on the service provided
Prices include:
-
The vehicle
-
A professional chauffeur
-
Fuel
-
Mandatory insurance coverage
-
Toll and parking fees
Additional charges may apply for:
-
Additional waiting time
-
Unscheduled stops
-
Specific services requested by the Client
6. Payment Terms
Accepted methods of payment include:

Credit or debit card
-
Bank transfer
-
Cash (within legal limits)
The balance is payable at the end of the journey, unless otherwise specified in the quotation.
Any late payment may result in the suspension of future services.
7. Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation must be notified in writing (email or confirmed message).

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled service

Cancellation within 24 hours: 30% of the total amount will be charged
-
Client no-show: 100% of the service will be charged
The deposit paid may be retained as compensation.
8. Waiting Time
The waiting time included is:

30 minutes at airports after landing
(1 hour at Paris Charles de Gaulle or Paris Orly) -
15 minutes in all other cases
Beyond this time:
-
A surcharge of €15 per started 20-minute period will apply
The applicable waiting time will be specified in the quotation or booking confirmation.
9. Client Obligations and Conduct
The Client agrees to:

Be present at the agreed location and time
-
Behave respectfully towards the chauffeur
-
Refrain from smoking or consuming illegal substances in the vehicle
Any dangerous, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate termination of the service without any refund.
Any damage caused to the vehicle will be charged to the Client.
10. Animals
The transport of animals is permitted only upon prior request and subject to the Service Provider’s approval.
PHEROAD reserves the right to refuse any animal for reasons of hygiene, safety, or passenger comfort.
11. Weather Conditions and Force Majeure
PHEROAD shall not be held liable for delays, modifications, or cancellations resulting from:

Exceptional weather conditions
-
Accidents
-
Major traffic congestion
-
Strikes
-
Administrative decisions
-
Any event of force majeure
No compensation may be claimed in such circumstances.
12. Liability and Insurance
PHEROAD holds all mandatory insurance policies required for private passenger transport in accordance with VTC regulations.
The liability of the Service Provider is limited to the obligations imposed by applicable law.
13. Personal Data
Personal data collected is used solely for booking management and customer relations.
In accordance with the GDPR, the Client has the right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data upon request.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These GTCS are governed by French law.
Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the registered office of PHEROAD.
15. Acceptance
The Client acknowledges having read, understood, and fully accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at the time of booking.
